OK2ROCK Team

Our team of musicians, music lovers, sponsors, volunteers, and partners is constantly growing, but here are a few of the members who have been involved and helped us give to the community over the years.

Musicians

OK2ROCK partners with Musician's Exchange and Brannon's Pub to host various events to raise funds for several local charities.  OK2ROCK also donates time and talent to help participate in charity events hosted by others.  We are also always ready and willing to help out those in our community that are in need by putting on benefit shows to raise money for worthy causes.  Over the years we have hosted or helped with events to help raise money for things such as funeral expenses, hospital bills for open heart surgery patients, and we've been a part of several benefits to help fight cancer.  We also participate in and hosts events for the Children's Emergency Shelter, Crisis Intervention Center, Oklahoma Regional Food Bank, local animal rescues, and many more.

Even if you aren't a musician there is still plenty of room and various ways for you to get involved with OK2ROCK or any of the events and organizations it helps to support.  It's fun and easy to donate or help out.  OK2ROCK accepts any and all donations and volunteers.  You can also help by simply attending our functions and showing your support.  As our organization and most of those that we support are geared towards helping children, kids are always welcome and encouraged to participate. Some of our regular partners and volunteers include Joey & Kim Amundson, Melba & Vernon Riddle, Tanner Amundson, Brock Reather, Bill Brannon (Brannon's Pub), Bill Page (Musicians Exchange), Rodney Jeremiah, JT Hubbard, JR & Liz Hardwick, the Barker Family, and the list goes on.

OK2ROCK was originally created as a way to give children the opportunity to learn to play guitar even if they couldn't afford one.  The goal was to provide them with the tools and knowledge necessary for them to expand their minds and have a productive hobby.  OK2Rock was created by Joey Amundson and Melba Riddle along with the help of Mark Albertson, Bill Page, and JR Hardwick in 2007.  Over the last 10 years there have been several OK2Rock kids, many of whom have gone on to be professional musicians.  These OK2Rock kids now help to promote the vision and donate their time and talents to paying it forward.  Among some of the OK2Rock kids are Brock Reather, Dustin Fry, Jordan Hardwick, Chris Sanford, JT Hubbard, Rodney Jeremiah, and many more.
